With deer season just around the corner, country stars Dustin Lynch and Riley Green need to get some things in order. And on their new track, “Huntin’ Land,” they lay out a “12-point plan.”

A lighthearted anthem that will hit a fun-loving bullseye with camo-clad fans, the track was written by Lynch with Andy Albert, Hunter Phelps and Will Weatherly like a blast of Tennessee twang-rock. With pounding drums, fiddles and a pair of true good-old-boys setting their sights on a slice of heaven, it’s all about doing what you’ve gotta do to keep your girlfriend happy — because her family owns some choice hunting land.

Meanwhile, the straight-shooting track is joined by a video from director Matthew Paskert, and it should prove that Lynch and Green are in familiar territory. It features footage from real-life hunts and cameos from outdoor celebrities like the Drury Outdoors crew, Nate Hosie (HeadHunters TV), Phillip Culpepper (Realtree Outdoors) and Michael Waddell (Realtree Outdoors), interspersed with footage of the the singers working Lynch’s actual property.

“‘Huntin’ Land’ is one of those fun songs that we can listen to and have a laugh at while hanging with our buddies,” Lynch says of the track. “I’ve been playing this one out at shows recently, and it’s been cool watching fans react in real time to it. So pumped Riley [Green] was able to hop on it too. Now we need to get a hunt on the books!”

Dustin Lynch is currently back in the Top 15 at country radio with another collab — his “Thinking ‘Bout You” power duet with MacKenzie Porter — and has a very special Grand Ole Opry appearance ahead. He’ll join the star-studded lineup of the Opry’s historic 5,000th Saturday night broadcast on October 30, celebrating the milestone with Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and more. Green’s current single, “If It Wasn’t for Trucks,” is out now.
