Dustin Lynch returns with a triple shot of grooving modern country on Ridin’ Roads. His new three-song EP arrives today, March 8.

Produced by Zach Crowell, the project finds Lynch embracing what’s beginning to seem like a signature sound. Ridin’ Roads follows in the footsteps of recent hits like “Small Town Boy” and “Good Girl,” building on his mix of classic country and new-school inspiration. Electronic beats, dreamy synthesizers and vocal effects mix with traditional instruments, as Lynch describes growing up in tiny Tullahoma, TN.

“We have a lot more colors to paint with than we did on the first album,” he explains. “I don’t think there are any more genre walls. It’s all about the lyric and the message, and we let the song steer us. If we dig it, we’ll take a chance.”

With Lynch co-writing each track, the single “Ridin’ Roads” features a breezy, windows-down vibe all about cruising around with nothing to do. “Little Town Livin’” follows as a slow-burning anthem dedicated to friends and Friday nights. And “Red Dirt, Blue Eyes” finishes the set in a dusty cloud of backroad romance.

Ridin’ Roads is out now, and this summer will find Lynch back on the road. He’ll join Thomas Rhett’s Very Hot Summer Tour for almost 40 concert dates, kicking off May 17 in Spokane, WA.
