Eddie Montgomery Shares New Video for ‘Crazies Welcome’

Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry is back with a brand new music video for “Crazies Welcome.”

Directed by Ed Pryor, the video for the thoughtful track features a wide variety of people singing karaoke to the song at Springwater Superclub and Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee (the oldest bar serving alcohol in Tennessee and a speakeasy during Prohibition in the 1920s).

“We all got a little crazy in us – and you’re welcome here with me, man. That’s what ‘Crazies Welcome’ is all about,” said Montgomery in a press release. “The ones I came up with in the day, my heroes, the Haggard’s, the Waylon’s and the Willie’s, they done their own stuff, they were characters. Nowadays, you got music and everybody’s playing it, but where are our characters ‘cause those are the ones that stand out. Those are the ones on the juke box.”

Written by Brad Warren, Brett Warren, Lance Miller and Jessi Alexander, “Crazies Welcome” appeared on Montgomery Gentry’s 2018 album, Here’s To You.

Following a show at the Grand Ole Opry on Feb. 5, Montgomery will travel to cities like Wantagh, New York, Rutland, Vermont, and Effingham, Illinois, for some performances in March and April. Fans can find more details here.
