Faith Hill is adding judge to her resume as she joins the cast of CBS’ new unscripted series The World’s Best.

The global talent competition has been described by producer Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice) as the “Olympics of talent shows,” featuring acts “from every genre imaginable and every corner of the planet.” The acts will not only need to impress the judges in order to move on, but will also need to amaze the “Wall of the World,” a collective group of 50 experts from around the world in different fields of entertainment.

Hill will be joined by fellow judges Golden Globe Award-winning actress Drew Barrymore and Emmy Award-winning TV personality RuPaul Charles, with James Corden, Emmy Award-winning host of The Late Late Show with James Corden, serving as host and executive producer.

“It’s only fitting that The World’s Best perform in front of the world’s best,” said Sharon Vuong, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming for CBS, in a press release. “James, Drew, Faith and RuPaul are all amazing talents who have excelled in their respective fields on a global scale. We can’t wait for them to bring their distinct voices to a show that’s unlike any other.”

“The very name of the show defined the caliber of judges we sought out and ultimately got,” added Darnell, Executive Producer and President of Unscripted and Alternative Television at Warner Bros. “Drew, RuPaul and Faith are incredibly accomplished superstars whose talents encompass every area of entertainment. Along with James, The World’s Best will now be the gold standard of competition shows.”

The World’s Best will debut with 10 episodes in 2019 on CBS.
