Country superstar duo Florida Georgia Line are spreading the holiday cheer this year with their debut festive single, “Lit This Year.”

The uptempo tune blends the signature FGL twang fans love with lyrics that boast the warm familiarity of a family gathering over Christmas.

That Christmas tree ain’t the only thing getting lit this year / There’s Old Camp in the eggnog and that fridge is full of cheers / Got some good ole Christmas spirit in this cup right here / That Christmas tree ain’t the only thing getting lit this year,” the pair sing with effervescence on the chorus.

“BK, Corey [Crowder], and I had a good time writing this one,” shares FGL’s Tyler Hubbard. “We felt like we were writing the modern-day version of ‘Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer’ meets Christmas Vacation. The only thing that would make this Country Christmas song any better is if we could shoot a video and feature ‘Cousin Eddie.’”

“Get your holidaze on, y’all,” adds FGL’s Brian Kelley. “This is a new one for us. T and I always felt our first holiday song would come at just the right time – we’re excited for fans to have something FGL to cheers to the season with!”

Outside of their new Christmas release, Hubbard and Kelley celebrated their 17th No. 1 single with the anthemic “I Love My Country” in September. Their follow-up, “Long Live,” is currently climbing up the country charts. Additionally, the FGL reunited with Nelly for their country-rap song, “Lil Bit.”
