Florida Georgia Line unwrapped their spirited new holiday original at this year’s CMA Country Christmas special. They brought the good times with “Lit This Year.”

Decked out in denim and ugly sweaters and backed by a full band, the duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley popped the top on a bright and lighthearted standout. Two part harmonies were energized by twangy guitar licks and some tasteful banjo, as the guys sang of a sudsy family Christmas celebration — complete with spiked eggnog, and a fridge full of “cheers.”

“That Christmas tree ain’t the only thing gettin’ lit this year,” goes the uptempo chorus.

“Lit This Year” marks FGL’s first holiday tune, written by Florida Georgia Line with co-producer Corey Crowder and released in late October.

The 11th annual CMA Country Christmas aired on ABC November 30, and also included performances from Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw, Gabby Barrett and more. The show was hosted by Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins.
