Florida Georgia Line are throwing it back to the good old days with an entire album of acoustic remixes, revealing the first half of The Acoustic Sessions Thursday night (September 5).

Stripping down a batch of their most popular songs, the duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard announced the project via social media. It will include a full album arriving October 18, and so far the guys have shared seven of the tracks.

Two were released earlier this summer — the banjo heavy “Talk You Out of It” and their signature “Cruise” — and the newly revealed songs include “Get Your Shine On,” “Round Here,” “Sippin’ On Fire,” “Stay” and “Sun Daze,” all presented in full acoustic twang.

But these are more than just campfire singalong versions of their hits, they’re fully produced and take on a life of their own, each one adding to the Platinum-selling story of FGL’s rise. And according to the guys, there’s quite a bit more coming.

“We’re pretty damn grateful to be able to put out new versions of our fav throwback FGL songs,” the duo writes. “These songs changed our life so this one goes out to y’all. Thanks for being the best fans out there. And this is just the half of it…more coming your way soon.”

FGL’s “Talk You Out of It” is the duo’s most recent single, part of their fourth album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country. They’re currently out on their headlining tour of the same name alongside opening acts Dan + Shay, Morgan Wallen and Canaan Smith. Their Las Vegas Residency resumes November 6 with four shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
