Florida Georgia Line Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of “H.O.L.Y.” Music Video
Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “H.O.L.Y.,” brings love to a higher level and the music video captures that with breathtaking scenery.
Looking at views of the Twelve Apostles on the coast of Australia, how could Florida Georgia Line not praise where their lives have taken them?
Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “H.O.L.Y.,” brings love to a higher level and the music video does that as well, on the landscape of the breathtaking nature captured throughout each scene. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard show fans a behind-the-scenes look at the simple beauty they used as the backdrop for the video.
The three-minute behind-the-scenes clip begins with the guys hopping into a helicopter to take them away to the picturesque setting of the Twelve Apostles. Between takes of shoreside performances and views of the surrounding fields, Hubbard talks about how incredible day one of the shoot is as he sits by a piano on the jagged edges of the Australian cliffs.
“It’s an absolutely amazing, amazing afternoon here,” he said. “Amazing people, it’s a dream come true. We’re blown away.”
The video continues on with clips shot of the guys’ co-stars, which happen to be their wives. Hubbard’s wife is seen, as Hubbard puts it, “shooting some epic walking down the beach shots,” as Kelley’s lovely bride writes him a little love letter among the golden grassy hills.
Also seen in the footage, Hubbard unexpectedly falls in love with someone else on the beach. But this time, it’s not with another girl.
“So at this point, I’ve sang ‘H.O.L.Y.’ to this little bird here about six times and we’re starting to really have a bond,” he admits. “We’re sort of in love at this point.”
Throughout all of the incredible scenes, director TK McKamy is ultimately just looking for one thing within the video’s message: honoring those whom you love dearly.
“The concept of this video, we collaborated with the boys to come up with something that’s about respect and honor and just the ultimate gratitude over their wives,” McKamy explains.
“H.O.L.Y.” debuted on April 28 and has been taking over country radio like crazy. Check out the rest of the behind-the-scenes beauty in their video above.
