Frankie Ballard Offers 24-Hour Preview of New Album

As he gears up for the June 10 release of his much-anticipated new album, El Rio, Frankie Ballard is giving fans a taste of his new music with a 24-hour preview of the record.

El Rio, which features Ballard’s current hit single, “It All Started With A Beer,” is streaming now exclusively on Apple Music. Additionally, the album is available for pre-order beginning today.

The Michigan native recorded El Rio at the famed Sonic Ranch, just south of El Paso in Tornillo, Texas. The making of the album was documented in a six-minute documentary, entitled “Journey To Sonic Ranch: The Making Of El Rio.” The clip, which can be viewed below, features Ballard, his bandmates, and producer Marshall Altman and the process of creating the album in Texas.

Ballard cut songs from several famed songwriters, including The Warren Brothers, Craig Wiseman, Ben Hayslip, as well as fellow artists, like Chris Stapleton, Kip Moore, and Chris Janson, on the album. See the full track listing below.
