Gabby Barrett sparkled with her performance at this year’s CMA Country Christmas special, sharing a rendition of the holiday classic, “The First Noel.”
Dressed to impress in a form fitting red-velvet gown, including full-length gloves and rhinestones, the song found this powerhouse singer using every inch of her vocal range. She was backed by acoustic guitar, piano and drums, and began the highlight moment at a delicate whisper. But by the end, Barrett had tapped into the full power of her soaring voice, tapping into the powerful magic of the season.
The 2020 CMA Country Christmas TV special was filmed in Nashville ahead of time with no studio audience, and it also found Barrett glowing as she showed off her third-trimester baby bump. She and husband Cade Foehner expect their first child very soon.
The 11th annual CMA Country Christmas aired on ABC November 30, and also included performances from Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and more. The show was hosted by Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins.
