Gabby Barrett Spotlights ‘The Good Ones’ in Heartwarming New Video
The former American Idol contestant celebrates love in the video for her latest single.
Vocal powerhouse and American Idol alum Gabby Barrett shined a light on loving relationships in the heartfelt video for her latest single, “The Good Ones.”
The clip tells the story of a couple’s life together, and it is filled with shots of them enjoying each other’s company in many different situations from racing around the grocery store to hanging out on the couch and watching movies. Shots of the male actor creating something from scratch for his girlfriend in a barn are interspersed throughout the video.
The story takes a turn and reveals why their relationship, and his project, is so special. Barrett appears throughout, narrating the video’s events with the song, and she gets a sweet surprise when her fiancé, fellow Idol alum Cade Foehner, makes a quick cameo.
“’The Good Ones’ is such a special song to me,” The Pennsylvania native told PEOPLE. “It’s inspired by my love story with my fiancé Cade, so I knew that the video needed to be just as special.”
Barrett had quite a busy summer, with her single “I Hope” debuting at the most added single by a new artist at country radio on impact and her performances at countless festival and tour dates. Currently, the rising star is working on her debut album in the studio with Ross Copperman.
