Gabby Barrett Shares Emotional Rendition Of ‘The First Noel’
Gabby's heartfelt rendition of "The First Noel" will give you all the feels!
Rising country star Gabby Barrett has released her heart-rending version of “The First Noel.”
Barrett’s cover of the Christmas staple starts of tender, as she delivers it over gentle guitar strums and piano keys. The singer then soars in the latter half accompanied by strings, highlighting her tonal texture and unmistakable vocal prowess.
“I’m so happy to release my first Christmas song today,” says Barrett in a press release. “Christmas is one of my absolute favorite days of the year, and my faith is the cornerstone of my life, so being able to share both with ‘The First Noel’ is a gift. I feel so blessed to do what I do every day, and I hope that this song adds something special to your holidays.”
“The First Noel” marks Barrett’s first holiday release in her career. Prior to this, the American Idol alum released debut album Goldmine via Warner Music Nashville. The record features her smash No. 1 hit “I Hope” as well as current single, “The Good Ones.” Additionally, the soon-to-be mother clinched her first CMT Music Award for 2020 Breakthrough Video of the Year with “I Hope.”
