Country icon Garth Brooks is known for selling out stadiums all around the world, but this summer he’s downsizing his show for a must-see series of “Dive Bar” tour dates.

Revealing the news on Sunday (July 7) as part of his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook Live video, Brooks explained that he’ll be performing seven special shows in tiny “dive bars” all around the country. The first one will be in Chicago on July 15, but Brooks can’t say yet where it will take place — or where the other six will be, for that matter. Fans should keep up with their local country radio station for the details, he advises, with the scoop on Chicago’s show set for public announcement today (July 8).

The tour is designed to coincide with Brooks’ new duet with Blake Shelton, “Dive Bar.” The easy-living summer anthem is spinning at country radio now and will become available via Amazon Music the same day the mini tour kicks off (July 15), which is also Amazon Prime Day. The cities and dates included on the rest of Brooks Dive Bar tour are expected to be unveiled that day as well.

Brooks is currently in the first year of what figures to be a three year world tour of stadiums. He and Shelton will give “Dive Bar” its live debut at Albertson Stadium in Boise, Idaho, July 19.
