Country legends and real-life-couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood put their “deep” connection on blast, covering “Shallow” as an official new single.

Making the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga hit from A Star Is Born their own, the emotional epic now features twangy vocals, acoustic guitars and orchestral strings — but definitely retains all the electric romance of the original. “Shallow” (the duet with Trisha Yearwood) is now Brooks’ latest radio single, and will be officially included on his long-in-the-works album, FUN, which is now slated for release on November 20.

“From the moment Ms. Yearwood and I first performed ’Shallow’ we have just had so much FUN with performing it, and so have the fans, that it just felt right to share this with country radio,” explained Brooks. “Getting to sing this duet with the queen is really special and it’s nice way to work up to the release of my album FUN coming out next month.”

Brooks and Yearwood first performed by the track request on Facebook, and then recorded the current version after overwhelming encouragement from fans. It now joins previously released FUN tracks like Brooks’ Top 5 single “Dive Bar” (with Blake Shelton), “All Day Long” and “Stronger Than Me.” The superstar was recently given the Billboard Music Icon Award, and on November 20 will also release Triple Live Deluxe, 30 tracks taken from his three-year long Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood and Stadium Tour.
