Country hall of fame icon George Strait is ready to play a few more hands in Las Vegas next year, laying another pair of Strait to Vegas residency shows on the table.

Building on three years of sold-out concerts at the city’s T-Mobile Arena, King George and his Ace in the Hole band will roll the dice once again on January 31 and February 1, 2020. It’s yet another expansion of his ongoing residency — which kicked off with just a handful of shows and has now grown to become one of the most popular in Las Vegas history.

The news arrives just as Strait has begun to dip his cowboy boots back into touring, returning for big ticket shows around the nation after “retiring” from the road in 2014. On Saturday (August 17) he and Blake Shelton will co-headline Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Strait will visit Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on November 22 and 23. Meanwhile, his Strait to Vegas shows continue and next year will start off with a one-two punch. He’ll play in Wichita, Kansas, January 24 for Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz and in Kansas City, Missouri, January 25-26 for Strait to the Heartland at Sprint Center.

Tickets for newly announced Strait to Vegas shows go on sale August 23 at 10 a.m. local time, with American Express card members getting an early crack at them beginning this Friday at 10 a.m.
