Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum has spent the last year healing from the pain of a sudden miscarriage in her second pregnancy. Through that process, she and her family decided to work on a project together, resulting in the faith-based album Love Remains.

After her touching interview on Good Morning America yesterday, Scott went on to announce the track listing and July 29th release of the new record, featuring the lead single “Thy Will.”

“The process of making this album has been not only creatively inspiring but I’ve also really been able to grow as a person,” said Scott. “We’ve had this intense concentrated amount of time as a family together, which has been so special. With all that we’ve gone through together, the highs, the lows – to be able to process all of that together, to heal together, to grieve together, to laugh, to cry, all of those things…it’s just been such a continuation of solidifying the strong foundation that we have in our family.”

The 13-track release features a combination of well-known hymns, as well as new, original music.

“We didn’t want to make a sad record,” revealed Hillary’s father, Lang Scott. “You’re always sad when you lose a loved one, but if you have that faith, it gives you hope. It gives you the courage to press on.”

Coinciding with the announcement, the singer also released the accompanying music video for “Thy Will,” directed by Shane C. Drake. Watch it above.
