Hunter Hayes Surprises Fans with a Duet at Tori Kelly Concert

Reunited and it feels so good!

Tori Kelly and Hunter Hayes met just 12 years ago on the show, “America’s Most Talented Kid,” which eventually led them both to their successful careers in music respectively. They gave fans attending Kelly’s concert on April 12 in Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium the duet everyone didn’t know they needed in life when Hayes surprised the crowd by hopping on stage.

Hayes brought along his guitar as the two sang his hit single, “Wanted,” acoustically. Bringing her soulful vibe to his sweet song, their harmonies blended together for a pop-country collaboration that left the crowd cheering throughout the song. After Kelly added her own riffs to the bridge, even Hayes admitted he was quite nervous while joining the “Hollow” singer on stage.

“You have no idea how nerve-racking it is to sing on stage with you by the way,” said Hayes. “This is how nervous I was 12 years ago! I mean, seriously. Come on, give it up one more time.”

Hayes is on the road touring around the country throughout the spring and summer, making pit stops at colleges and venues along the way.

Seriously though, @torikelly you are a rock star. So glad I can say I saw your first show at @TheRyman and I can't say thank you enough for letting me be part of it!
