Jason Aldean Lands 23rd Career No.1 With ‘Rearview Town’

Superstar Jason Aldean tallies yet another No.1 at country radio this week, with his dark “Rearview Town” topping charts for the 23rd time of career.

A moody, dashboard-pounding ballad about leaving the past behind, the hard-driving hit was written by Kelley Lovelace, Bobby Pinson and Neil Thrasher. It appears on Aldean’s Rearview Town and marks the fourth-straight No.1 off that project. The steamy “Girl Like You,” traditionally-minded “Drowns the Whiskey” (featuring Miranda Lambert) and R&B-inflected “You Make It Easy” made the cut before this, but actually, his hot streak is much longer than that. “Rearview Town” is Aldean’s 14th Top 5 radio single in a row, and only five of the singles he’s ever released have failed to crack the Top 5.

Aldean is currently on the road for his 2019 Ride All Night Tour with Kane Brown, Carly Pearce and Dee Jay Silver, which is set to wrap up October 11 with a stadium show at the Texas’ Rangers Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. And after that, he’ll get set for his first ever residency with Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas. The three-show stand will mark a milestone return to Las Vegas for one of the star’s first headlining appearances since 2017, taking place at the Park Theater at Park MGM.

“I’ve wanted to bring our show back to Vegas for a while now, and the timing feels right,” Aldean said while announcing the news. “We’re going to pack up the show, set it up for a couple days and hang out with our Vegas family. I’m looking forward to being back.”
