Jason Aldean reconnects to family life in his beachy new “Got What I Got” video, sharing quality time with his wife, Brittany, and their two kids, Memphis and Navy.

Directed by Shaun Silva and filmed on the white-sand beaches of Destin, Florida, the passionate clip captures a family remembering what they have, even when times are tough. But because of that family, these times don’t actually seem so tough. A sleek, modern-country ballad mixed with tender R&B, “Got What I Got” is a slow-grooving standout from Aldean’s recent 9 album, all about the rich life this superstar enjoys even without his fame and fortune. And its video brings it to life.

“We’d been down at the beach during quarantine and have had a lot of time to to appreciate each other,” Aldean said of the video in a press statement. “With a skeleton video crew and social distancing, it was an all-hands-on-deck shoot that made for a little twist at the end.”

“Got What I Got” appears on Aldean’s 2019 album, 9, and marks the follow up single to his fist-pumping Top 10 anthem, “We Back.” The Georgia native debuted his new video on Wednesday night’s (July 1) CMA Summer Stay-Cay special.
