Jason Aldean puts viewers in the middle of his high-octane stage show in the new video for “We Back” — but even the superstar himself has never seen a concert like this.

Filmed with a total of eight, specially designed 360-degree cameras placed all over the stage and beyond, the clip turns Aldean’s performance into a delirium-inducing thrill ride of country rock. Directed by Shaun Silva, the video’s roller-coaster effect was created by mounting cameras to everything from Aldean’s mic stand and his band’s instruments to a beer can tossed to the singer during the performance, turning the 2019 Ride All Night Tour into something close to a trippy M.C. Escher painting.

“We’ve put out music videos in the past from our tours, but Silva put a really cool spin on this one,” Aldean said in a statement. “Fans are going to feel like they are onstage with us, which is something I’ve never really seen pulled off like this before.”

The fist-pumping single “We Back” marks the first taste of Aldean’s ninth studio album, 9, which comes out November 22. He’s already released a big portion of the diverse new project, including tracks like “Dirt We Were Raised On,” “Blame It on You” and “I Don’t Drink Anymore,” with another new song titled “Got What I Got” arriving at the stroke of midnight tonight (October 10).

Aldean wraps up his summer tour this weekend and will then get set for his Ride All Night Vegas residency in December.
