Grammy winners John Paul White and Rosanne Cash team up for a good cause in the new duet, “We’re All In This Together,” supporting musicians in need of health care.

Featuring a roots singer-songwriter who was formerly one half of The Civil Wars and Cash — the hit maker and social activist who is also Johnny Cash’s daughter — the soul-stirring acoustic ballad praises how people around the world have risen to the challenge of COVID-19. As fault lines mend and people coalesce around a common cause, the track’s official video features footage from around the globe of health care workers, first responders and regular families alike, all doing their part in the fight against a deadly pandemic.

“It’s a lonely world / It’s our only world / And we’re all in this together now,” White and Cash sing in the track’s hushed but determined chorus.

All proceeds raised from “We’re All In This Together” will benefit the Music Health Alliance, which partners with music professionals who often don’t have health care coverage. White and Cash know their fellow musicians are just as susceptible to COVID-19 as everyone else, and if you’d like to help, visit musichealthalliance.com.

I’m so honored and delighted to sing with my friend John Paul White (@johnboymusic) on our co-written song ‘We’re All In This Together Now.’ A sense of community, kindness, and responsibility for ourselves and others is vital in this moment. We offer our deepest gratitude to the health care workers who risk their lives for all of us, and the greatest sympathy for the lives lost and the families and friends left behind. It may be a lonely world for many right now, isolated and separate, but it’s our only world. If ever we thought we weren’t all connected to each other, we know it now. Out tomorrow and all proceeds from the song go to @musichealthalliance. Link in bio! (Song and video will be released today, Friday, at 12 noon ET)
