Jon Pardi enlists a furry compadre in the video for his South-of-the-border single, “Tequila Little Lime,” casting his his dog, Cowboy, for a beachy clip full of fun.

Directed by Carlos Ruiz and filmed at the famous Gulf Coast beach bar, Florabama, the sunny clip centers on Pardi as a happy-go-lucky bartender, who’s called in to help in a canine emergency. He’s working the bar one day when in walks a pretty señorita who’s lost her four-legged friend, and it’s up to Pardi to make things right.

Interspersed with hip-shaking performance shots (with a real mariachi band in sandy support), this video isn’t a search-and-rescue montage. Instead, it finds the clever country singer taking his new friend’s mind off her worry — using some fun-loving dance moves and a little tequila, of course. And in the end, they can all toast a happy reunion.

“I want tequila little time with you / A little salt and a lime will do / Hey bar man, will you bring us two? / I want tequila little time with you,” goes the salty chorus hook.

Jon Pardi released the video for “Tequila Little Time” on Cinco de Mayo, 2021, and popped the cork on the single back in January. It comes off his third album, Heartache Medication, which also includes a Platinum certified, chart topping title track, and the traditionally-flavored “Ain’t Always the Cowboy.” The hit maker also appears in the Bonnie-and-Clyde inspired clip for “Getting Over Him” with Lauren Alaina.
