“Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me” hit maker Jordan Davis returns with a romantic slow jam for his third single. The grooving “Slow Dance In a Parking Lot” is all about a couple so lost in the moment, they turn a patch of pavement into their own personal night club.

Drawing out Davis’ smooth, smoky vocal and pairing it with a dreamy mix of guitar, drums and synthesizer, the track is the third single released from Davis’ Home State album debut. It was co-written by the singer with Lonnie Fowler, and tells the real life story of Fowler’s first date with his wife – a night so good they weren’t ready for it to end. Instead of going home, they stopped off for a few more minutes of bliss.

“Slow dance with you / Spinning you around by the Walmart sign / And moving our feet over the painted white lines / Getting close to you / Making the most of whatever we got / Even if it’s just a slow dance in a parking lot,” goes the chorus.

Davis took both of his previous singles to Number One at country radio, and earned a Platinum certification for his “Singles You Up” debut. He’ll be touring heavily this summer, heading out with Old Dominion for select dates of the Make It Sweet Tour and also joining Rascal Flatts for select stops on their Summer Playlist Tour.
