Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan team up to celebrate the simple life in Davis’ current single, “Buy Dirt.” And with its official music video, the pair put their money where their mouth is.

Written by Davis during pandemic and all about the basics of a truly rich life, the heartwarming tune is filled with time-honored wisdom. The lessons Davis lays out are nothing new, often passed down from one generation to the next. But placed in the context of the modern world, they ring especially true, and so does the music video.

Backed by the song’s gentle acoustic sound and with Davis’ muddy Mississippi vocal making room for Bryan’s Georgian drawl, the clip is as serene as it is simple. The two stars stand together on a rolling hillside, with Davis playing guitar and a series of pure-country moments flashing by like happy memories. Kids playing together on a farm. A couple walking hand in hand through a hay field, and more, all adding up to the song’s make-a-place-for-yourself hook: “You cant buy happiness / But you can buy dirt.”

“Buy Dirt” follows a string of hits from Jordan Davis. His recent single “Almost Maybes” made it into the Top 5 at country radio, and the songs before that were all at least Platinum certified, Number One hits. Those tracks include “Singles You Up,” “Take It From Me,” and “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot.”

Davis is set to head out on Kane Brown’s Blessed and Free Tour this fall, and will also headline dates on his own on the Buy Dirt Tour. He and his wife, Kristen, are currently expecting their second child. Bryan is out on tour now, headlining his Proud To Be Right Here Tour.
