Rising country artist Joran Rager dropped the music video for his latest single “Dirt In My Veins,” an anthem for anyone who left a small town.

Filmed in his hometown of Loganville, Georgia, and directed by Emma Golden, the nostalgic, reminiscent visual is filled with shots of Rager visiting various important places from his past like his home and high school. Interspersed throughout the video are clips of the up-and-comer performing the song with his band.

“The words in this song are my story,” he said. “I spend most of my life away from home, and I rarely ever get to see my hometown anymore.”

Although he does not often get the chance to visit home, Rager’s song and accompanying video show fans that he will never forget who he is or where he came from.

“I carry a piece of it [his hometown] with me everywhere I go, so I never feel too far away,” the singer shared. “I feel like the music video really captures that.”

Rager is currently working on a new project, which is due to release in early 2020.
