Kane Brown made the live-TV debut of “Leave You Alone” at the 2022 ACM Awards, bringing some country sophistication to Las Vegas.

The superstar singer kept the vibe cool and chill inside Allegiant Stadium, with the swanky song that professes his devotion to the woman he loves. Like a red wine stain on the carpet and a hole in her favorite pair of jeans, “Girl I ain’t goin’ nowhere,” Brown croons, strutting around the stage in a deep green suit.

“‘Cause my love won’t leave you alone / I won’t let you go / I’m talking us growing old,” he sang, with crisp, classy vocals that captured the emotion and passion of the song. “Kane, I love that song man,” ACM Awards co-host Jimmie Allen praised at performance end.

Nominated for three awards on the night, Kane’s performance was the first time he had played the new song onstage. “Leave You Alone” follows the hit maker’s seventh Number One, “One Mississippi,” which just topped the charts last week. The rising star just wrapped up a successful leg of his massive Blessed & Free Tour of NBA arenas, and recently opened up about the inspiration for his newborn daughter’s name (Kodi Jane).

Marking the first time a major country awards show aired exclusively as a live stream, the 57th annual ACM Awards took place on Monday (March 7) at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. Co-hosted by Dolly Parton with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett, the show featured more than 20 performances and was carried by Amazon Prime Video.
