Kane Brown has released a heartwarming, family-themed video filled with cute kids and star shaped PB&J sandwiches for the current single, “Good as You.” It gives fans a look at what it was like growing up for the 25-year-old country artist.

Directed by Reid Long, the clip is loosely based on Brown’s upbringing and stars 10-year-old Lonnie Chavis, who plays young Randall on the hit NBC series, This Is Us. Chavis shines in the “Good as You” clip as well, navigating the complicated life of a kid being raised by his mother and grandmother. He deals not only with bullies and first crushes at school, but also learns about financial stress at home, while still managing to be a good big brother and make his mom smile.

“We grew up with hardly any money, and there’s a lot of scenes in here where you can see how I was actually raised,” Brown says in a separate, behind-the-scenes clip. “This is paying tribute to my nana and my mom and how they raised me – I love them very much.”

Brown will perform the soulful, romantic track live on this Sunday’s 54th ACM Awards, where he is also up for Single the Year for the 4X-Platinum No.1, “Heaven.” “Good as You” is now inside country radio’s Top 10, and Brown will join Jason Aldean for the 2019 Ride All Night Tour with Carly Pearce and Dee Jay Silver May 3rd.
