Kane Brown adds some spicy Latin heat to his blood-pumping “Lost In the Middle of Nowhere” (featuring Becky G), releasing a Spanish-language remix of the track and an imaginative new video.

An English version appears on Brown’s latest album, Experiment, but for the remixed version he leans on singer and actress Becky G’s background. Thumping club beats and a red-hot Reggaeton sound drive the lusty track forward, while both singers roll with ease through a Spanish translation of the quick-fire lyrics.

Meanwhile, a dreamy video echos the song’s transformation. Brown and Becky G enter a mysterious glowing cube, and are then transported to a sweltering tropical forest.

“When I named my album Experiment, one of the things that was important to me was to not feel limited sonically in what I could do, including the types of instruments and collaborations,” Brown explains. “I’m a country artist, but I have a range of influences. I didn’t feel pressured to keep it in a certain box because of the way my fans have always been there for me, which has lead to some amazing chances to branch out and work with people I admire throughout a range of genres including Becky G.”

“It was so much fun to work with my friend Kane Brown on this remix, a fusion of what he and I love most; country and Reggaeton,” says Becky G.

Brown co-wrote “Lost in the Middle of Nowhere” with “What Ifs” duet partner Lauren Alaina, Jon Nite and Jesse Frasure. His current single is the Gold-certified “Good as You” and he’s featured on pop star Khalid’s “Saturday Nights” remix. Becky G has had two Number One hits on the Billboard Latin Airplay Charts (“Mayores” & “Sin Pijama”), a starring role in Power Rangers and guest-starring spot on Fox TV’s Empire.
