Country superstar Keith Urban rolled out a brand new song and more on Thursday (February 27), releasing “God Whispered Your Name” and some big news.

“And then God whispered your name / And that’s when everything changed / And love came out of the rain / And talk about being saved,” goes the tender chorus. “Suddenly I wanna live / More than I ever did / I’m never gonna be the same / From when God whispered your name.”

New music wasn’t the only thing Urban announced Thursday morning, however, also revealing he’ll be the host of this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. The 2020 showcase will take place April 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, airing live at 8/7 c on CBS. View the just-revealed full list of ACM nominees here.

“As if having a new song out today wasn’t enough, I also get to host the ACMs in April,” Urban said in an official statement. “I’ll tell you — this year already feels like the most creative and energized year of my life … and there’s so much more to come. Incredibly grateful — and ready to roll!”

“God Whispered Your Name” follows Urban’s current single, “We Were,” and he has a full schedule of international tour dates as well as a residency in Las Vegas scheduled through this year.
