Kelly Clarkson and Brett Eldredge gift fans with a brand new Christmas song this holiday season, teaming up for a sparkling duet called “Under the Mistletoe.”

Co-written by Clarkson and Aben Eubanks, the track may be the perfect addition to your holiday playlist, mixing an upbeat blast of seasonal cheer with a modern-pop edge. Clarkson’s effervescent vocals soar as high as Santa’s sleigh, while Eldredge’s friendly baritone rumbles like a musical “ho, ho, ho!”

“I love writing new Christmas songs that have a classic, throwback vibe,” Clarkson said in an official statement. “Brett is such an amazing singer and I was so impressed by his classic sound on his Christmas record, so it was a perfect match for picking a duet partner for ‘Under the Mistletoe.'”

“I couldn’t wait to go in and sing it, and once I heard our voices together, I knew we landed something very special,” added Eldredge.

“Magic everywhere / Standing over there / Santa hear my prayer / Here under the mistletoe,” the pair duet. “All I want / All I need / Is here under the mistletoe.”

Kelly Clarkson is currently starring as a judge on new season of NBC’s The Voice, and has one more Christmas song ready for release — this time a classic cover. Eldredge released his fifth album, Sunday Drive, in July, and his Christmas album, Glow, came out in 2016.
