Worlds will collide when country princess Kelsea Ballerini and alt-pop trailblazer Halsey team up, sharing the stage for the taping of the 70th episode of “CMT Crossroads” Friday, Oct. 11.

This will be the pair’s first-ever performance together, which takes place at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee. Produced by CMT’s Margaret Comeaux and Swutched On Entertainment’s John Hamlin, the episode is set to premiere in early 2020.

“From hearing ‘Colors’ for the first time to her playing the first cut of ‘Without Me’ in my living room last year, I’ve always been a fan of Halsey,” Ballerini shared. “I can’t think of anyone I’d rather share the stage with. We’re going to bring a little pop, a little country, a big love of songwriting and no doubt so sass to Nashville next week.”

The two radio dominators became fast friends over wine, karaoke and their passion for songwriting. Fans can expect to see some real chemistry and comradery in Ballerini and Halsey’s performance.

“The first stage Kelsea and I ever shared together was a 3-foot karaoke dance floor right in Nashville,” Halsey said. “We’ve sang together in my living room, in her kitchen and in the backseat of cars in drive-thru lines late at night. This time we get to get on a real stage, one of the most iconic stages in history, and do the thing we love most in front of a city that is so dear to both of us.”

The show will be all-ages and general admission, and ticket details will be available in the days leading up it. Fans can find more information about the event here.
