Lady A celebrate the heartwarming magic of childhood in “Christmas Through Your Eyes,” a new original tune with nostalgic message.

Written by Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott, the gorgeous holiday ballad is all about remembering what Christmas felt like as a kid — full of family fun, cozy traditions and of course, presents under the tree. With lush three-part harmonies and a classic instrumental arrangement behind them, the trio connect the dots between their own childhoods and the next generation, and the track’s music video does the same.

It features a wide array of cherished memories through footage from each member’s childhood, showing what Christmas was like with they were growing up. And then with the addition of home video of their own kids, shows how they’ll pass the seasonal spirit on.

“I’m seeing Christmas through your eyes / Yeah, its been a while / The joy and wonder of your smile / Such a precious child / Suddenly I’m drifting back in time / Seeing Christmas through your eyes,” goes the loving chorus hook.

“Christmas Through Your Eyes” is one of four new originals on Lady A’s recent On This Winter’s Night Deluxe album, and it’s helped put Lady A in the Christmas spirit all season long.

Trio also appeared on this year’s CMA Country Christmas, first by serenading Thomas Rhett and his family as they co-hosted the show with a rock ‘n’ roll rendition of “Little Saint Nick,” and again with a full performance of the Paul McCartney classic, “Wonderful Christmastime.”

The 11th annual CMA Country Christmas aired on ABC November 30, and also included performances from Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Gabby Barrett and more. The show was hosted by Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins.
