Even a heavy downpour during Lady Antebellum’s performance didn’t rain on their parade.

During their rendition of the National Anthem at the Kentucky Derby, Lady Antebellum experienced some severe weather as rain showers drenched all in attendance. The trio kept their cool throughout the performance, as they truly soaked in the moment during the song.

Instead of letting the stormy weather get the best of them, they finished on a solid high note before laughing over the whole coincidence as a group. With no umbrella or roofing over them, the band appeared to be swamped down by their Derby-ready attire but it didn’t seem to bother them one bit.

Despite what could have turned into a cloudy occasion, the crowd cheered for the beautiful rendition as the band exited to find a little warmth and possibly a few towels to dry off.

Lady A also took to their Instagram to post their before and after pictures of the downpour, with Hillary Scott captioning the second photo with being thankful for wearing a hat that day.

Hoping for some favorable weather in the dates to come, Lady Antebellum will be on tour throughout the warmer months with stops planned all across the country.
