Rising country star Laine Hardy is sharing his childhood holiday memories in the music video of “Please Come Home for Christmas.”

The nostalgic clip features Hardy performing The Eagles tune by a fireplace and Christmas tree as his personal family photos flash across the screen.

“I’ve always had the Eagles version of this song on my playlists during the holidays,” the Louisiana native shares in a statement. “Especially with everything going on right now, there are going to be a lot of people missing family and loved ones this Christmas. So I wanted to make my own version of the song, and hope it lifts people up this year.”

Outside of his holiday cover, Hardy has also released the songs “Tiny Town,” “Ground I Grew Up On,” “Let There Be Country” and “Other LA” this year. “Tiny Town” also serves as the 20-year-old’s debut country radio single, and has amassed over 2 million audio and video streams to date.
