Love and Theft’s Stephen Barker Liles And Fiancée Welcome Baby Boy

Stephen Barker Liles, one half of the CMA, ACM and CMT nominated singing/songwriting country duo Love and Theft, and his fiancée, Jenna Kennedy, welcomed a healthy baby boy today in Nashville at 8:40am CT.

“Jett Barker Liles is here! It was the greatest rush I have ever experienced! Jenna and I are so thrilled to be parents. It’s the best thing that has happened to us,” said the “If You Ever Get Lonely” singer from the hospital, with baby Jett in his arms.

Jett arrived in at 7lbs, 7ounces, and 20 and 1/2 inches. Of the delivery, he notes “Jenna was awesome, calm and collected the entire time. We checked in, stayed up all night and watched ‘Sports Center’ and ‘Friends,’ and listened to Mozart during the delivery.”

Stephen’s sister Rebekah, mom and brothers Brent and Andrew all stayed the night to greet Jett, and bandmate Eric Gunderson, his wife Emily and baby Camden are all on their way to meet Jett today. “They (Camden Gunderson and Jett) are gonna be best friends!”

“We can’t wait to take him home and for the whole world to meet him! He’s ready to start instagram-ing and tweeting right away,” joked Stephen.

As for who Baby Jett looks like? “He has Jenna’s lips and my nose.”

Love and Theft’s current single, “If You Ever Get Lonely” is currently climbing the charts at country radio and is currently up for GAC’s fan-voted TOP 50 Country Countdown. Voting goes through December 16th. Vote HERE.
