Luke Bryan Brings ‘One Margarita’ To American Idol Finale
AMERICAN IDOL Ð "316 (On with the Show: Grand Finale)" - "American Idol" rounds out its all-new innovative and critically celebrated season on ABC, crowning its next singing sensation live during the epic grand finale event, SUNDAY, MAY 17 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). (ABC) LUKE BRYAN

Country superstar and American Idol judge Luke Bryan made the national television debut of his brand-new single “One Margarita” last night on the Idol finale.

Bryan and his band performed the breezy song against digital backgrounds of palm trees, yachts, beaches, and concert-goers, transporting viewers to the beach during those blissful three minutes. Scenes from the singer’s star-studded beachy music video were also featured in parts of his performance.

“One more barefoot round, one more last chance to say / Hey Señorita, don’t you think we need a salt and a Buffett song / One margarita, two margarita, three margarita / We’ll be gone,” Bryan sings in the chorus of this feel-good anthem.

The Georgia native made everyone feel like they were out in the sun enjoying their best margarita, so much so that even fellow Idol judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie got up from their seats to dance along in their respective homes.

“One Margarita” is off Bryan’s upcoming seventh studio album Born Here, Live Here, Die Here. The project was slated to drop on April 24, but has since been postponed to August 7 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
