Maddie & Tae give fans a glimpse of their real-life weddings in the video for “Trying on Rings,” using personal footage from both members’ happiest day.

Setting those unforgettable moments to music, the clip begins by highlighting Maddie’s ceremony, which found her marrying high-school sweetheart Jonah Font late last year. It’s full of perfect poses and happy family members, but Tae’s big day was not to be outdone, as she said “I do” to Nashville singer-songwriter Josh Kerr in February. With the duo’s angelic voices joining in crisp, twangy harmony, the pair unveil an entire journey of love, from first glimpse to biggest leap.

“I hope people can see and feel how much love was put into the song and shown in the video,” Maddie told Entertainment Tonight about the video. Meanwhile, Tae added her hopes that fans “hear their own love story in this song and realize it’s all the little moments that mean the most.”

“Trying on Rings” is part of Maddie & Tae’s recently released sophomore album, The Way It Feels. It joins the duo’s chart-climbing current single, “Die From a Broken Heart,” which is now inside country radio’s Top 20, and Maddie & Tae plan to join Lady Antebellum’s 2020 Ocean Tour this summer.
