Maren Morris and Irish rocker Hozier delivered a dose of transatlantic harmony on the One World: Together at Home fundraiser, teaming up for a stunning performance of “The Bones.”

Tuning in from Ireland and explaining that the hit duet is “a beautiful song, and one that’s appropriate for the times,” Hozier kicked the gorgeous track off on a nylon stringed guitar — a Platinum chart topper dedicated to relationships built on solid ground. Considering the context, it felt here more like a promise that life will surely one day return to normal, as Morris unleashed her empathetic soprano from home in the U.S.

When the bones are good, the rest don’t matter / Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter / Let it rain, ’cause you and I remain the same,” went the courageous chorus.

The optimistic performance was just one of many during the star-studded event, organized by Lady Gaga and Global Citizen for April 18. Also featuring the likes of Elton John, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves in special, at-home performances, the event raised nearly $128 million for the World Health Organization.
