Country trio Midland will postpone their upcoming tour dates, they revealed in a post to Twitter. The announcement comes after a medical emergency concerning the birth of lead singer Mark Wystrach’s daughter.

“We regretfully must postpone our upcoming tour due to a medical emergency following the birth of Mark and Ty’s baby. His daughter is expected to make a full recovery, but Mark is unable to be away from home until that happens.

“We are all incredibly saddened to delay the tour and and are working hard to reschedule for next year. Mark and Ty will share more info when they feel comfortable. Further information on the rescheduled dates and refund details if unable to attend will be released next week,” wrote Wystrach’s bandmates Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson on Twitter.

Wystrach and his wife, Ty Haney, have yet to speak out concerning the emergency. We will update this post as soon as we have more information.

The couple wed in October, just months after announcing they had a baby girl on the way.

Midland was scheduled to head across the pond for a slew of dates in the UK and Europe.
