There was nothing “delicate” about Miranda Lambert’s performance of “It All Comes out in the Wash” at the 53rd annual CMA Awards. The Female Vocalist of the Year nominee put her band on “heavy duty” and hit the spin cycle early on in the night.

Standing tall in front of an elaborate stage designed like a full-scale car wash — complete with spinning bristles, bubbles and dazzling neon lights — Lambert rocked her pink acoustic guitar wearing a ruby-red sequined mini dress and strappy pumps.

She got the crowd up and out of its seat for the first time, offering up her famously sly vocal style and a spirit-lifting run through her latest single, currently inside country radio’s Top 15.

“It All Comes out in the Wash” is part of Lambert’s recently released Wildcard album, and she’ll wrap up her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour November 23 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
