Miranda Lambert lets the good times flow in the music video for her first-ever remix, dropping the beat on “Tequila Does.”

Reimagined by the Nashville DJ Telemitry, the track gets new life as pulsating dance-floor banger with the same boozy hook as the original, adding new color to Lambert’s catalog — and the video follows suit.

The colorful new clip finds Lambert and pals at her Nashville-area ranch, turning a lazy back-yard pool party into a full-on downtown dance club. With the tequila flowing, giant inflatable flamingos and Lambert’s beloved airstream trailers in attendance, the wild-and-free clip also stars Lambert’s brother, Luke Lambert, and his husband, Marc — plus a bunch of their friends — adding an element of LGBTQ+ pride to the good timing vibe.

“When Miranda played the remix for me and my husband Marc, we instantly loved it, so of course we jumped at the chance to bring our best friends to Nashville to be in the video,” said Luke. “We had such a blast! By the end of the night, we forgot cameras were rolling. The tequila certainly helped!”

Others featured in the clip include Lambert’s husband Brendan McLoughlin and his brothers; Lambert’s longtime backup singer Gwen Sebastian and her husband; the rising duo Tigirlily; country artist Krystal Steel; DJ Telemetry and more, all adding to the club-style fun.

“This is my first remix of any song in my whole career,” said Lambert. “I knew it was right up my brother Luke’s alley so I sent it to him to see what he and Marc thought. They loved it and that gave me the confidence to put it out there. It’s so much fun, I thought why not invite my family and friends out to my farm and shoot it at my vintage trailer park. It seemed perfect. And Reid Long was my first call to direct this because he has filmed a lot of live stuff for us on the road and I knew it would feel a lot like that – just capturing fun moments. I am so glad to have had my friends and family be part of it and we had a blast!”

The remixed track is out now, and “Tequila Does” also appears in two other iterations in Lambert’s catalog. The studio version is on her Wildcard album, which a stripped-down acoustic rendition is included on her just-released collab with co-writers Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, The Marfa Tapes. Miranda Lambert will be on tour starting August 5 in Jacksonville, Florida, with headline dates set through mid-November.
