Up-and-coming brother-sister country duo Juna N Joey have released a performance video for their stirring new song “‘Til Your Heart Breaks,” and it’s premiering exclusively on Sounds Like Nashville.

The video treatment is simple – dim lights, spotlight on the two vocalists, and a piano accompanying their delivery. With no bells and whistles, the focus falls on both the persona’s tear-soaked regret and the song’s poignant lyrics.

“This song tells the story of a narrator going through a painful breakup for the very first time. When filming the video, we wanted to capture the intensity of a heartbreak,” Juna N Joey tell Sounds Like Nashville. “We think the simple setting, low lighting, and emptiness of the stage helps to symbolize the feeling of loneliness that often accompanies the end of a relationship. We hope people can relate to the video and take comfort in knowing that they are not alone in feeling the pain of a broken heart.”

Written by the siblings alongside Kaylianne Lowe and Doug Lowe, the piano ballad paints a picture of a post-breakup gripping heartache. “Suddenly every memory is burned in my mind / I can see the little things perfectly one at a time / I play it over and over what I could’ve done different / But I didn’t know then what I now know was missing,” Joey confesses in the opening verse.

Adding their signature harmonies to the track, Juna then joins him in the chorus. Soaring with unrestrained emotions, they sing, “‘Til your heart breaks / It’s hard to find the fire inside that makes you fight / To stay where you stand / But once you do it pushes you to make your move and not look back.” The young siblings may not have experienced a heartbreak of this magnitude, but their plaintive delivery sure convinces otherwise.

Hailing from West Palm Beach, FL, 16-year-old Juna and 19-year-old Joey moved to Nashville recently to focus on growing their budding music career. Through their longtime commitment and passion for covering songs, the pair have already amassed 82k YouTube subscribers and over 7 million views. On TikTok, they have garnered more than 11 million views and 1.5 million likes as well.

Juna N Joey have also been featured on DreamworksTV, Nickelodeon’s “America’s Most Musical Family,” and toured with American Idol alum (and Gabby Barrett’s husband), Cade Foehner. Most recently, they opened up for BMG UK recording artist Twinnie on her AEG tour across the UK.

Juna N Joey’s debut EP is slated to drop this year.
