RaeLynn proves to be a little wild in her new song “Rowdy.” The country songstress released the upbeat party song just in time for her tour with Kane Brown.

“I get rowdy / I get mouthy / When I get all my friends around me / You can hear us from across the county / In my crowd we get rowdy,” she sings in the tune she penned with Corey Crowder, Randy Montana and Emily Weisband.

The new song is just one of several from the Texas native, following the release of her current single “Tailgate.” Both tracks show off RaeLynn’s spitfire personality, which is exactly what she hoped for while working in the writing room.

“Lately when it comes to songwriting I’ve made it a point to just have fun and create music that feels good,” RaeLynn says. “The day we wrote ‘Tailgate’ [co-written with Canaan SmithCorey Crowder and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard] I told Canaan, Corey and Tyler that if the song doesn’t make me want to dance then I don’t want to cut it. Without fail ‘Tailgate’ makes me want to dance on stage every single time I perform it and when you hear it you can’t help but sing along.”

Both “Rowdy” and “Tailgate” will be included in her set on Kane Brown’s “Live Forever Tour,” which kicked off in Duluth, GA on Thursday, Jan. 10. She’ll continue on the trek through March.
