Yet another group is pulling out of the performance bill at the 54th CMA Awards. Within the first hour of the show, Rascal Flatts revealed to fans that they “have received a positive COVID test within the band.”

“As much as we were looking forward to performing at the CMA Awards tonight, we will no longer be attending in the interest of everyone’s safety. We miss y’all and stay safe!” the trio shared in a tweet. Another post on Facebook added, “Some of our favorite moments have happened on the CMA Awards stage, and we cannot wait to return!”

Rascal Flatts were slated to perform their signature (and fitting) hit “Bless The Broken Road” tonight.

The band is the latest positive test to come out of the night’s performers. Lee Brice, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and Lady A all had to pull out of previously scheduled performances.

The CMA Awards, co-hosted by Rucker and McEntire are set to air live from Nashville tonight (11/11) from Nashville’s Music City Center. Watch them on ABC at 8/7c and keep up with all the latest CMA news by checking back on SoundsLikeNashville.com!
