Renee Blair Releases Vibrant New Song ‘Heatin’ Up My Summer’

Country newcomer Renee Blair has her eyes set on an unforgettable, fun-filled summer with her smokin’ hot new song, “Heatin’ Up My Summer.”

The bright country-pop tune opens with synthetic beats, before Blair declares with sass in the opener: “It’s hot as hell, it’s already triple digits / My drink melts before I even sip it.”

“I want you heating up my summer, keeping me up all night / Don’t you dare go make me wonder what kissing you is like / Baby don’t you want to put your hands on my body / Where the sun don’t tan,” Blair sings in the risqué chorus, euphorically dreaming up a fun-filled summer fantasy with her man.

“Summer and fun go hand in hand to me and those who know or have met me know “fun” might as well be my middle name,” the St. Louis, Missouri native shared with Sounds Like Nashville. “I’ve always wanted an up-tempo summer anthem in my repertoire so I called up my go-to guys to help me write this one, Matt McGinn and Jordan Schmidt.”

“This song is so fun and flirty!” she admits. “I can only hope it gets as stuck in your head as it does mine!!”

“Heatin’ Up My Summer” is the lead single off Blair’s forthcoming EP, The Ones For Summer, which is set to drop later this summer. Prior to this, the CMT Next Women of Country artist released her three-track EP The Ones To Slow Dance To earlier in March.

Grab your significant other or girlfriends, and get ready to dance to this song all summer long!
