Rising country duo American Young recently announced their Lee Brice-produced, self-titled album. The record blends influences from both classic country and modern pop to create a unique mix of music.

American Young is made up of Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone, two people who prove “opposites attract.”

“Jon’s a perfectionist and a finisher,” explains Kristy, a classically-trained violinist. “He works harder than anybody I know. I’m all about the vibe and the feel of the moment.”

“The thing that’s so inspiring for us both is that we’re so different,” Jon adds. “Everything that drives me crazy about her makes her a star. She’s everything I wish I could be, but once we’re together we’re like Voltron. It becomes selfless; all our needs become secondary to American Young.”

American Young’s album will feature 12 songs, 11 of which the duo co-wrote, and will be available for purchase starting Aug. 5 on Curb Records. Fans can get a first listen to the record on Spotify. Pre-order your copy HERE.
