Russell Dickerson Casts Wife Kailey to Star in ‘Every Little Thing’ Video
What a cute couple!
Rising hit maker Russell Dickerson puts a face to the feeling behind the upbeat romance of his current single in a new video for “Every Little Thing.”
Mixing live-concert shots, candid behind-the-scenes footage and some zany Chinatown fun, the clip is centered on Dickerson’s relationship with his wife and artistic muse, Kailey. It shows off Dickerson’s high-energy live shows – filmed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Chicago during his co-headlining The Way Back Tour with Carly Pearce – but also the camaraderie he shares with his band and some truly tender moments with Kailey, even while they have the time of their lives.
Speaking with PopCulture.com on the red carpet of Nashville’s BMI Awards last November, Dickerson said the song’s love-of-your-life theme should come as no surprise to fans – Kailey inspires a huge portion of his work.
“That’s kind of the whole theme of the whole album, called Yours,” he said. “‘Every Little Thing’ is … just like, I love every little thing about her, and that’s what the song’s about. Because when I wrote the album, we were newlyweds.”
“Every Little Thing” follows the back-to-back Gold and Platinum success of Dickerson’s last two singles, “Blue Tacoma” and “Yours.” He’ll be performing all three for huge audiences all summer long, joining Thomas Rhett’s Very Hot Summer Tour starting May 25th-26th in Orange Beach, Alabama.
