Following a whirlwind 2019, breakout country star Russell Dickerson finally dropped the new music video for his latest single, “Love You Like I Used To.”

The video follows a married couple who’s love for each other has changed but also has grown stronger than ever. Dramatic shots of Dickerson performing the song on a desert road are interspersed throughout the clip.

“The ‘Love You Like I Used To’ video is such a perfect visual for this song,” the country hotshot shares. “Love changes as it grows. You have to work on it, but it’s worth it – it gets better and better with time.”

The video was directed by the singer’s wife, Kailey Dickerson, and her brother, Toben Seymour, in Palm Springs, California, and Nashville, Tennessee.

“It was the first time we’ve used actors and actresses in a video which was a completely new and fun experience,” Russell Dickerson says.

The country crooner has a busy summer ahead of him, as he is set to appear at festivals like Watershed, Faster Horses and Country Thunder.
