Following a few independently released projects, country newcomer Ryan Griffin reemerged onto the scene when he dropped his debut major label single, “Right Here Right Now.”

“We can think about tomorrow tomorrow / ‘Cause that ain’t got a thing to do with tonight,” Griffin sings in the opening verse over a muted, pulsing beat that sounds ready to explode. The song erupts into an anthemic chorus embracing everything about the Carpe Diem mindset.

Produced by frequent Maren Morris collaborator busbee, the track masterfully combines modern country twang, a big pop melody and R&B groove to craft a genre-defying jam. Paired with Griffin’s powerful vocals, the song becomes something truly special.

“It’s the most surreal, exciting feeling to know that something I have been working toward and pouring my heart into is finally out for the world to hear,” the budding artist said. “I hope the message of living in the moment and choosing love over fear is felt.”

Originally made a name for himself in the songwriting world, Griffin nabbed his first No. 1 in 2016 as a writer on Kelsea Ballerini’s platinum selling single “Dibs.” Now, four years later, the hitmaker is finally ready to step into his own spotlight with “Right Here Right Now.”

Griffin is currently supporting Old Dominion on their Make It Sweet Tour, and he will continue to tour through the fall as an opener for Carly Pearce starting in October.
