Rising country singer Stephanie Quayle is smitten by love on her brand new song, “By Heart.”

The tender and groovy romantic tune narrates Quayle’s desire to know her love interest “by heart.” On the song, the Bozeman, Montana native leaves out not a single detail she wants to know about Mister Right, and delivers it over a fun and buoyant country production.

“The first time I heard ‘By Heart,’ I was in New Orleans in my hotel room, and I immediately grabbed my guitar, and started figuring it out by wrapping myself up in the lyrics,” Quayle says of the song.

“By Heart” was penned by songwriters Anna Vaus, Cassidy Lynn Alexander and Ian Michael Christian. It was later recorded almost entirely virtually during COVID-19 with producer Alex Kline.

“The lyrics that got me every single time were, ‘I want to know you like my drive home,‘ and ‘I want to know the jersey that you wore when you were seventeen.’ These were my words, like my own conversations with my husband,” explained Quayle. “When I think about the course of my life: finally finding love, falling in love, and knowing what that feels like, fully –to know someone ‘by heart’ is the ultimate love.”

Prior to this, Quayle released an acoustic EP, The Montana Sessions, and a studio EP If I Was a Cowboy in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Both projects feature the songs “Whatcha Drinkin’ Bout,” “Second Rodeo,” “If I was a Cowboy” and the uplifting track, “Untitled.”
